Modern Slavery Statement

Ethiko is a purpose-led company, committed to supporting businesses to achieve quality, compliant and transparent business operations either within its own entity or within its supply chain.

As a bespoke consultancy service to both labour providers and labour users, we are committed to eradicating modern slavery within our own business and supporting our Client’s with their own requirements for ensuring supply chains operate responsibly.

We aim to respect human rights and outline the steps within this policy which we are taking to ensure that we manage any risk of modern slavery within our business.

Business Overview

Ethiko is a provider of compliance support services targeting both those who utilise the service of labour providers within their supply chains, but also labour providers themselves. We are aware of the risks these industries face in terms of modern slavery and make it a priority to support and educate those whom we supply services to on how to prevent, detect and deter potential cases of modern slavery.

Our supply chain

As a provider of professional services, our supply chain is primarily associated with the goods and services required to provide our services, whilst minimal, we are aware of the risks of modern slavery within these products and aim to make the right choices to identify potential risks of modern slavery.

Our partnerships and collaborations

Our target for 2025 is to establish key partnerships and collaborations with external partners to enhance our approach to assessing and mitigating risks of modern slavery.

We currently sit on the Labour User, Labour Provider Liaison Group held by the Gangmasters Labour and Abuse Authority.

Our Strategy

We will assess risks and identify mitigating actions on an ongoing basis with regular reporting to the board of directors. Where our service provision carries out due diligence on, or an audit of, a supplier and conclude there is a significant risk of modern slavery, the CEO will be notified, and approval sought to continue with the service provision.

Our future plan

We will look to review our performance in line with our policies and processes throughout the period of 2025, this will include how we support our clients in adapting and improving their own modern slavery statements in a bid to support the challenge of eradicating modern slavery.
